Pattern pieces are supplied without a seam allowance, and without certain elements required for finishing the piece (facing, lining etc.); this pattern provides a solid base for drafting your own design. 

Knee length skirts, sitting on the waist with straight waistband. An A-line skirt is a skirt that is fitted at the hips and gradually widens towards the hem. This base pattern skirt has a center back seam.

The skirt’s base include 3/8” (1 cm) amount of allowance for ease and comfort: Your waist circumference + 3/4” (2 cm); hip circumference + 3/4” (2 cm).

Depending on your body measurements your garment can include several waist darts - from zero to three at the back and from zero to two at the front. The total amount of darts may differ from the technical drawing.
