Pattern pieces are supplied without a seam allowance, and without certain elements required for finishing the piece (facing, lining etc.); this pattern provides a solid base for drafting your own design. 

Knee length skirts, sitting on the waist with straight waistband. Depending on the difference between the hip and waist circumference, the width of the skirts can varied. This base pattern skirt has a center back seam. The skirt’s base include 3/8” (1 cm) amount of allowance for ease and comfort: Your waist circumference + 3/4” (2 cm); hip circumference + 3/4” (2 cm).

Depending on your body measurements your garment can include several waist darts - from zero to two at the side panel of the back and from zero to one at the side panel of the front. The total amount of darts may differ from the technical drawing.
